Hello, all - we're sorry about having to cancel the last meeting, but really didn't think it'd be a good idea to invite a bunch of people with no working bathrooms!
We're happy to report that the toilets are now in good working order - in fact, they are brand new - so we are rescheduling the meeting for Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.
We hope you can make it, it is Labor Day weekend, so it might be hard, but as many of you as are able, come on out for some meet-and-greet-and-get-to-know-you's.
We welcome homeschooling Moms and Dads, and people who are thinking about it, have family members doing it, or just want some information!
We'd like to be able to support each other. If there is anything in particular that you're wondering about, feel free to leave a comment here and we'll try to answer your question! Most of all, we want to give you and your kids a community to belong to. It can be scary to pull your kids out of school. You, and they, might wonder how they'll make friends, and you might even wonder the same thing for yourself! Well, the good thing is that homeschoolers are a pretty friendly bunch, and we're all interested in having and being friends. So please plan to attend this meeting, or the next, and introduce yourself! We look forward to getting to know you.
